The age was fantastic on this. Great tertiary development. Raspberry turned to dried rose, toast, mushroom.

Sour cherry, raspberry, tobacco, coffee, give it some time to breathe and the fresh strawberry will come forward. Age for another few years and it'll sing.

Loads of fruit with a bit of earthiness. Let it air out for an hour. Still tight.

A small group of people happened to be hanging around Classic and we all pulled a few pinots out to taste side by side.

This was very solid. While this outshined the Shea, the Penner-Ash beat this out easily. Darker and sweeter red fruits compared to the Shea. More of a red spice to it.

Pleasantly surprised. My grandmothers cherry pie- baking spices, tart cherries, rhubarb, and an underlying verve that brings you back for more.
