Strawberry with lots of salt, spices creating possible mysterious taste. Now is Ok. But high potential one. It has characteristics of this winery and the area. @2500, wine plus, 220923

Violets, red fruited and bright, high acid, nice but doesn’t quite live up to the ‘16

Ruby hue with secondary garnet influences. Medium tearing. On the nose, red cherry, wild strawberries, rhubarb sauce, vanilla bean, mushroom, mossy earth, molasses, nutmeg, bay leaf, and lemongrass. Long, elegant finish. Dynamic and multifaceted. Beautifully balanced. Vintage 2014. ABV 13%.

A little light on Day 1, but gaining heft and density on Day 2. Better balanced and more refined than the ‘15. Still not totally convinced by this producer.

Side by side with the Chambolle and Gevrey. The Vosne was in the middle in terms of body, showed both red and black fruits, very sappy with lovely spice. My favorite of the trio

A little too lush for me. Ripe dark fruit and spice but lacking the acidity and structure one would expect...and is needed to keep it fresh and focused.

Great restraint. Cherry, mushroom, and forest floor. Tannins were tamer than I expected.
