Smell of a little age, but fruit is still firm, fig, licorice, rosemary, rose.

The one on the left is corked, fruit and tannins stripped. Faint TCA on the nose but the cork is loaded and stinky.👎🏻 The one on the right is on point with blackberry, iron, iodine. Still fresh and lively. Tannins have softened. Really tasty bottle. 🤙🏻

Syrah not Chard. Delicious but needs time.

Solid offering. Lots of dark fruits and still has the acid to back it up. I opened this and realized the winery shipped me this instead of James Berry Syrah. It was a pleasant mistake.

Full throttled but with refreshing minerality and acidity. Lots of crushed dark fruit and earth followed by umami on the finish. Like alot.

Clearing my wine collection, thought I would crack into this. Very syrah-ish black fruit tones, but then the rest of it is so fucking tart. No roundness or body, just all acidity. This would be better if it had aged another 5 years or maybe had just been picked at a slightly (moderate) amount of brix. I can't take these warhead candy flavored wines anymore...
