Last bottle and it’s a beauty. Early season cherry, wood shavings, sour cherry, dried leaves, some wet leaves, floral, so complex. Awesome. Palate is superbly elegant and has loads of finesse and bright sour cherry and early season cherry fruit. Energetic and very long. So juicy and complex. All red fruited. Such charm and grace. So deep but remains light.

Jul 5th, 2020Sour cherry, sweet cherry, all mid season, what a nose. Spice, licorice, so wafting, almost like a perfume, what a palate, depth of fruit, dry but serious tannins. So juicy, acids off the chain, dense, long finish, toothsome, amazing. Spectacular, long.

Palate is so clean and so cherry and so explosive and so juicy. Amazing balance and beguiling purity. OMG the fruit on this wine is sick. So opulent but then razor sharp acids. Cleansing. Genius wine.

Sep 19th, 2018Brilliant wine. Big red sour cherries, pine resin, sappy undergrowth, very mineral and alpine vibe. Ripe and complex with lovely tart sour cherry. Terrific fine tannins and insane freshness. Wonderful purity and depth. Lovely balance.

Fresh and loaded with stony minerality and tart cherry fruit, this wine drinks like it’s 3 years old, not 10 years old. Very nice notes of cherry liqueur pop up in the lengthy, minerally finish. Great acidity, and the tannins have pretty much packed their bags and left. Great value.

Oct 1st, 2018Just pure deliciousness. It has the beauty of Nebbiolo with the fruit intensity from rinforzo. These can be overblown but this is not. Really an amazing bit of winemaking. A unique expression of Nebbiolo. Bought from Fass Selections. After an hour gets even better. Like Nebbiolo in gevrey with a hint of rinforzo. Wow. Just wow.
