Modern in style, juicy ripe fruit but so much balance. Love this.

Dark and brooding, much more than would be expected, with black cherry and savory meatiness on the nose. It tugs at the senses with youthful tannin and formidable acidity, and then finishes grippy with tart fruit. A few years in the cellar may be in order.

Nice wine.
Cherries, tar, spices. Needed a richer food pairing than pizza or pasta. Braised meat or stew probably the play here.

Excellent pairing with our grilled Tri-Tip and Verdure. A little tight at first but after half hour she opens up and sings in the glass.
