Best and last bottle of this from the collection. Very classic with a depth and breadth that puts the 2010 at seven years it's senior levels ahead of the 2017. Classic!

Conti Costanti Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2006
Still a baby, this is all primary fruit with gorgeous floral violets, a sweet leather note and a subtle savoriness. The palate is intense and a little less complex than the nose. Burly and intense, with wonderful acidity and firmly grained tannin this will do well with 5+ more years of bottle refinement.

Borderline criminal to be opened this young, it pours a deep garnet all the way to the rim. Aromas of cherry liqueur, grilled herbs, sandalwood, licorice, tobacco and earth. Gripping tannins and lively acidity.

Serious and slow to unravel but revealed layers of incense, plummy fruit, and exotic spices.

Elegant and perfumed. Wonderful mid-palate and overall balance.

Ripe blackberry. Loose mid palate. Allspice finish. Tannins absent in adolescence.
