Buried treasure! Blessed with an exceptional cork. Lively, still sporting black cherry fruit, pine pitch notes. Wonderful bottle bouquet. Med. body.

Wow, what a wine! I'm not sure I could recommend a $30 wine more than this one right now. Dark fruit, currant. Mocha and baking spices. This seriously tastes like a $60+ wine. Find one and let me know if you agree

The wine I have opened tonight is the 2007 Conn Creek Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. What a great start to the weekend.

The nose is still full and expressive with dark fruit. Black cherry, blackberry, black currant, chocolate, violets and rich dark earth.

On the palate you're not losing a thing, there are notes of black cherry, blackberry, black currant, black currant, good floral notes and a nice earthiness.

This wine continues with a full mouth feel, medium + acidity and medium + grippy tannins.

Even after 10 years in bottle this wine is still vibrant, full of life and with good balance. This is a good drink alone wine or with food. You won't go wrong here. Have a wonderful weekend and please be safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

A very refined Napa cab. Expressive now, though age may benefit. Firm tannins but never overpowering, a heavier concentration on dry flavors like spice. A great example of structure and balance, as every cab that had overbearing flavors can be found in this one as a harmonious part of a whole. Quite impressive intellectually speaking.

This wine tends to surprise me often. Great value, wonderful aromatics without over-oaking the wine. Fuller side of medium bodied with great structure. Finishes longer than most Napa Francs that I've had at this price point.

Who says there's no value in Napa? Red fruit dominates, aromas of herb garden, red bell, touch of rhubarb and a root bitterness, silky smooth tannins that glide across.
