What do the pros know? This is absolutely delicious to pair with a medium rare filet mug on. Tempranillo with cabernet similarities. Deep tannic oaky and beautiful.

Tooka little while to open up. Earth, funk, cherry. Medium tannins. Overall, a pretty tasty wine, just needs a bit of air at this point.

2011 - $29
Slightly cloudy with brown tint.
Fantastic nose: pine needles, chocolate, and animal characteristics. Strong tannins with a cherry cola and oregano flavors that finish with dark fruits.

Tons of barnyard may be over the top. Deep dark cherry, good but not spectacular. If you like the funk this is it but in opinion it overpowers the fruit of the grape. 35$ in Santa Fe at the wine store.
