Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Blend of 75% Merlot, 17% Syrah, 7% Malbec & 1% other Red Varietals. Les Chevaux, (French for “the horses”) is named for the wild horses that once roamed the Horse Heaven Hills. Deep Ruby with aromas of black fruits and pronounced spice. On the palate plum and blackberry flavors with pepper and herb spice, lively acidity. Firm tannins on medium(-) finish ending with fruit and toasty notes. Drink now!

Had the 2018 in June of 2021 with steak while enjoying an evening on the deck. A better food wine than sipping wine. Light fruits with hints of spice. The oak added a gentle sweetness throughout the tasting. Last glass after dinner brought out the tannic dryness at the end. Still enjoyed this one. Think it was a Costco wine.

Very muted. Not much nose. Even the next day. Sweet and lightly manipulated. Hints of Vanilla . Was on sale at HT. Meh. Would not get again.
