Beautiful red fruit and licorice flavors. Well balanced and a great value!

Simple little classico here. Light ruby color. It’s not super complex, but it is also only $16 or so. Great value. Earthy profiles with typical red berries and violet aromas you’d find in a typical Sangiovese. Great tannins and a long linger.

Pretty classic Classico. Smell the tomato and herbs, feel the silky tannins. Yay ripe cherries with a whiff of earth clinging. Pleasant finish. I can’t fault it but I was hoping for ever so slightly more body or oomph. Even more tannins? But totally a pleasant wine. Solid Whole Foods purchase.

Tannins dominate. Seems a little disjointed to me

Rich earth and red fruit. Very dry as expected but very impressed with the sophistication of a 1970 vintage. Bright lingering red fruit on the finish that fights for attention at an old age.

Wonderful classic Chianti from a favorite producer. Try it with a wild boar ragu!
