Colterenzio Schreckbichl
Sudtirol Alto Adige Pinot Nero

Excellent Pinot Nero from Südtirol. Cherry and red fruit. Nice acidity. Having it on a rooftop in Rome makes this a 95 point experience. 🇮🇹

NOSE:leather, cola, firewood, nuts, chocolate, allspice.
TASTE: fairly light — ash, dry cherry, good acid - SPICY baking spice, oregano. Bitter finish. Good, but too much smoke/ash for me. 89.

I think I've tried of the Pinots that are rough on the tongue. This delightful bottle is anything but rough. It's smooth but not cloying, unstructured, or flat. There's a light cranberry note taste throughout the palette.
