Montefalco Rosso Sangiovese Blend

Pencil shavings, stewed sundries tomatoes, leathery, barnyardy, the Merlot softens it a little bit around the edges. Typically a sagrantino is a fairly expensive grape similar to the brunello, but when blended you get typically a kick of it with mostly Sangiovese. Great for its price point

Awesome for the price, enjoyable. Medium body, brighter fruits entrenched in a nice tannic finish

Drank with crawfish gumbo at HCL ‘21. Surprisingly good pairing. Recommended by wine guy at Park Hill.
