Reserva Anna Brut Blanc de Blancs Cava Blend

Vinified with traditional method, the lemon peel and green apple scented Blanc de Blancs Anna Reserva blends Chardonnay, Macabeo, Xarel-lo and Parellada. Medium-bodied and quite refreshing on the palate, this is a well-structured Cava, but the mousse is a notch too dominant for my taste. Drink now.

NOSE: lemon cream, buttered crusty toast, a very mild soft cheese.

TASTE: a blast of citrus - first explicit orang, then lemon drops and grapefruit … the grapefruit and orange is the impression that lingers. Simple, but good! 89-90.

Smells creamy, a bit like meringue. Tastes like creamy lemon. A little bitter nuttiness. Crisp. Pretty good! Solid value @$11. Would definitely recommend for parties, etc.

Fruit forward Spanish Bubbly! Loads of apple and white peach aromas and flavors. Hints of citrus and herbs on the slightly bitter and long finish. Creamy texture.
