Solid NZ sauv blanc. Crisp, dry, and really opens up when brought to room temperature.

The old classic. One of my favorite SBs. Perfect with our lemony crab pasta.

Honey aroma followed by bright citrus flavors. Very pleasant and refreshing while especially cold.

True Sauvignon Blanc fans may love this wine, but I found it not very appealing.Yes, its nose is absolutely lovely— pineapple and citrus floating around in your nostrils, rising up your sniffer, and proclaiming to your brain stem that this will be yummy. But this wine betrays your nose. It is tart on the front of the palate, tart on the middle of the palate, and bitter and tart on the finish. Much too raw for my delicate sensibilities! I have a confessional make. After the first glass, I ended up pouring a dollop of Lillet Blanc into mix to take the edge off — afterwards this tipple became quite nice. Sorry, but otherwise I would have dumped this down the drain — along with $33 I shelled out for this bottle.
