Lots of character for the minimal $$. Intense nose has brothy, damp limestone, Granny Smith apple drizzled in lemon juice, and straw. Big initial whack of flavor; lots of dry extract. Good acids for post-climate fuck-up Chablis. But it’s a little clumsy feeling in the mouth and short in the slightly bitter finish. But at this price-point, that’s really not a fair criticism.

Hefty Chablis - pungent nose, a lot of apple on the palate - and better with food than without. Would even use the word chewy. I would think an excellent stinky cheese wine

Superbly balanced. A surprising amount of oak for a Chablis, but otherwise flawless. A bit steep at $37.
