Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and lemon/lime zest, well balanced, vivid acidity, nice creamy mouthfeel. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, oak and mineral notes. Nice!

The Clos Pegase label features Pegasus, painted circa 1890 by the French artist Redon. Pale lemon with aromas of fresh fruit and floral scents. On the palate apple and melon flavors, creamy with pronounced oak and citrus notes. Medium finish, good balance ending with fruit and oak character. Still tasting well. Good value! We just tasted beside a Stags Leap, Pegase won, and it’s $5 cheaper!! Nice!!

See my previous notes: this is our house Chard, great consistency thru vintage and Costco price can’t be beat!

Was impressed by the 18’, and this 19’ is quite nice as well. Green apple, lemon curd, honeysuckle, jasmine, and hint of wet hays. Vivid acidity and good texture. Finish has a nice saline touch.
The price for 19’ has gone up to $25, still a tremendous price for a single vineyard bottling from Carneros.

This single vineyard chard stricken a good balance between fresh nose and textured palate. Apple, peach, cantaloupe, lemon curd, and hint of nutmeg. Integrated toasted oak. Finishing bright and fresh.
