Chocolate, purple grape, dried plum and espresso. Granitic, ripe and monolithic, with some prickling tannins. Lots of minerals too, but kind of a syrupy style.

Red plums, savory, leather, mint and animal on the nose; on the palate, dried herbs, juicy blackberries and plums, animal barn. Powerful wine with nice viscosity, acidity. Minimal tannins. Can taste alcohol though... too early unfortunately.

Ageing really well but if you got ‘em drink them. Tannins pretty well gone but still with the old wine funk in a good way.

Lovely! Game, bacon, mixed red berry compote, lavender pastille, bitter cocoa, smoke and licorice. Common theme of tonight is this leathery fruit, and here it is all umami-like, with stones and warm earth behind it all. Tannins are suave, sleek and integrated, classic CNDP from a year that has been a little varied in my experience.
