Dark ruby in color with a purple rim.

Fruity nose of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, licorice, oak, vanilla, leather, smoke, chocolates and light black pepper.

Medium bodied and smooth, with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate and fruity, with blueberries, plums, oak, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, leather, bitter vegetables and peppercorn.

Medium finish with soft tannins and black pepper.

A nice everyday red wine. Drinking nicely now by itself or with food. Simple and easy drinking with nice acidity.

Drinkable right out of the bottle and better as it opens up. Not bad for a happy hour red wine, but not more than that...

I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Spicy, not a classic Cabernet but tastes closer to a merlot. Chocolate and cherry notes. Not my favorite, but it’s not bad.

It's like a leather belt. Berry blast. Pretty decent California Cab.

Man what a great wine for under $8. Nicely balanced, black cherry on the nose, lingering finish and all-in-all a go to standard for me.
