Nice structure, good fruit. Not had this basic cuvée before.

Disjointed and mute, an odd showing for what has previously been a beautiful (if painfully young) Beaujolais. Root day? Off bottle? I have confidence that it will soon return to form...

Early for this, but ebullient in its youth. Peppy red fruit, tons of florals, moderate tannin structure. The last glass on the third day (third day? How did that happen?) is the most interesting, with added depth and complexity.

Fresh, sassy and a perfect go-to for roasted chicken dinner. A quintessential "bistro wine."

For some crazy reason I sometimes pickup raspberry yogurt on the nose on these wines! This one also has some spice and perfume notes with noticeable structure and tannin in the finish.

Structured, grippy red fruit. Pronounced crunchy mineral and rocky earth. Slightly bitter rear palette. Good stuff worth waiting for.

Opened this on Saturday and wasn't wow'd, but it was solid. Three days later it's developed all those yummy dirt and earthy flavors. Still a touch of green on the finish though.

Unlike the current quaff (see previous post), this was actually wine. It kicked ass. Creme de cassis, some hazelnuts. Want more to save.
