Orchis Mascula Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Pinot Noir

Haunting and delicate. Reminiscent of so many great red burgs from much higher appellations. This is vin nature with soul and precision and clarity, super enjoyable to drink and also nowhere near ready. Great wine the cuisine at Le Servan.

Spectacular nose of wildflowers and violets, raspberry and rainier cherry, very fine powdery tannin, bright acid 🌷🍒⚡️😍

Showing some oak on the nose, although not as much as expected with 80% of them being new. Packed with red berries and great acidity, luxuriously smooth tannins lurking in the back.

Complex and delicate... roses, smoke and orange liqueur on the nose, super light, little thin, dry on the tongue with a powerful tannic finish... very nice now and has great ageing potential ...

Delicate and feminine

This was a lot bigger than I expected... I love the deep burgundy color.... nose is quite smoky, with oak and stewed fruit ... medium bodied, medium acid (I would have preferred more), tannic with a lingering finish ... I think it needs more time and I highly recommend red meat for pairing ...
