Inky purple with some sediment. Menthol, mint and slight violet and blackberry in nose. Floral note with lush blackberry and some raspberry in mouth with fruit punch finish. Good flavor, balance. Has held up incredibly well with age. Tasty.

Wow, just had this with a meal of lamb & eggplant lasagna. Until tonight, Tempranillo was our go-to wine for this meal. Enjoying another glass as dessert. Not as earthy as expected, but the hints of spice balanced well. Overall a bit lighter than other pinots. Beautiful color, but definitely not dark or deep to the eye. Picked this tasty critter up on a tasting tour several months ago and am glad I did. I can imagine this going well with pheasant.
