This wine needs a LONG time to open up. The #cabernet #merlot blend greets you with egregious fruit and vanilla without any tannins for structure nor acidity for balance. After a full day in the wine fridge, it came alive with acidity, that vanilla receding to the background and some decent layers of flavor. I suspect the other bad reviews just gave up on the wine after uncorking.

Starts off with a bite but finishes smooth. Pairing well with my loud know it all brother in law. Dark fruit with dry finish.

Very smooth and dark, but not overwhelming in terms of flavor. Predominate notes of black cherry with the tart-ness getting cut by the vanilla. Full of tannins making it a perfect easy "watching a movie" kind of red
