Dark purple color. Primarily Petite Syrah (90%) with a bit of (10%) Syrah. Young and fruit forward but with a nice combination of elegance and power. Bursting with aromas and flavors of blackberry, anise, baking spices and dark chocolate. Hint of orange peel on the long and fruit forward finish. Big and burly! Thank You Keith S!

A little earthy on the nose. Full bodied, dark purple in color, very tannic. 85% Petite Sirah 15% Syrah. From one of my favorite 🇺🇸 regions Paso Robles. Needs a good decant.

Big, ripe, sweet, oaky, pruny and overdone. Like sassafras and chocolate syrup. Not my thing at all.

Smells like blackberry and calendula (a sort of amber/herbal flavor) - or perhaps it is echinacea. Definite licorice. Tastes as it smells - licorice, herbs, dark berries, lovely mouthfeel. Some chocolate. This is really good. Not my favorite style, but a good example. Good deal! Reminds me a bit of the much higher rated, much more expensive (MUCH more expensive) Aperture cabernet.

Definitely impressed with these Chronic Cellars wines. Strong flavor for the money. In your face Petite Sirah, not refined but loads of umph. Blackberry jam. Paired this with some tri tip.
