Tart/ripe dark red fruits...tannic, med acid...def bitter edge, but rounds off on the finish...

Serious funk? Off bottle? Not sure, but the eucalyptus game was strong

Nice - black cherry, blackberry, black plum, violets, licorice, some earth. Riper fruit but nice acidity and tannins are rounder. Little boozy @ 14% but it’s a balanced dolcetto

Just about the best Dogliani you’re gong to find, and this vintage is incredibly fresh, expressive and powerful. Massive fruit, sturdy tannin structure and long, complex finish. Blackberry, dark cherry, violets, dark chocolate, tobacco, cedar, mint, minerals and leather. Dolcetto doesn’t get any better.

Dark and bolder than your usual Dolcetto. Ripe cherries, prune, mushrooms, licorice, some baking spice. Nice tannins but pretty well rounded. From Flatiron Wines.

Dense purple. Wish the nose was a little cleaner. CO2 on palate entry. A bit funky in mouth aromatic.
