Let this warm up. Flavors of honeysuckle, ginger, and custard really pop with the solid acidity. Oak is present (38% new) but adds notes to the complexity and rounds out the finish.

This is one of the most outstanding Chardonnays I've ever had. 2011 Reserve. Intensely complex, yet elegant and gorgeous in both aromas and flavors. Tropical fruits abound and flow in seamless waves from the front of the palate to the long lasting finish. Beautiful mineral tones and great depth of character will allure you in for more. Enjoyed every last sip.

Had the 2011 vintage several times now, and I'll be damned if this isn't one of my favorite OR Chards. Oaky in the right places, with a lean precision that I love.
