Shade wrapper leaf, bitter chocolate, almonds and barely-cooked fresh plums. Fresh and lively on the palate, and free of pruny, overcooked or lactic notes.

This is the one that’s 500m from Petrus. Wrapper leaf, cocoa nibs, raspberry. The Cab Franc component is brown and mature, not green. Fantastic acidity and gentle tannins. First rate. #tournefeuille #lalandedepomerol

On the nose: toasted oak, sweet plum, graphite, slight smoke. On the tongue: pear/plum, spice, clay, a nice minerality. Tannins are present and noticeable but sandy in nature. Would like to see this wine again in 2 years.

Lots of smoke and bacon fat and stewed plum. Big, bold, racy.

Grar bacon fat and tart berry with earth notes on the back palette. Finish his tobacco and tannin.
