100% Merlot. 100% aged in concrete. Knowing ahead of time that this was a natural wine had me bracing for something wild and funky however, I found this bottle to be very well composed and quite quaffable! Dark fruit, chocolate, moderate acid, moderate tannin. Good QPR for a sub-$20 Bordeaux and it’s a natural to boot!

Great fruit and acid. Absence of oak, which is welcomed really lets the naturalness of this wine shine through. It’s almost Beaujolais juicy. Really nice wine

When I receive samples, I make a point of waiting to research the wines until after I've tasted them. First impression—that it's primarily Cab Franc possibly from the Loire was incorrect—turns out the Tire Pé DieM 2012 is 100% Merlot, organically grown in clay and limestone soils. The profile is light and primary. Cherry clafoutis, vanilla, fennel pollin. Fermented and aged in concrete, the tannins are quite powdery, a silkily brocaded backdrop to high-toned tart acidity cherries. Pie cherries, rhubarb compote, and crushed lavender linger at the close. 13.0% ABV | Sample

Utter Brett bomb. Don't care if it's under-$12, it's undrinkable.

2012 vintage. Needs some down time. The tannins were coarse on this bottle. But fun merlot.
