I like the heady, graphite, blueberry jam notes, super light on its feet, good acid and some tannin.

I love this wine- fresh, nice stem character, spice, earth, hint of game, bright blue and red fruits, tons of flavor, clean, more body than you would expect for a Gamay and full of flavor. Wines are always wonderful from Chateau Thivin- one of my favorites.

Santa deserves some of the finest Cru Beaujolais known to humanity.

Still quite dark. Wild aromas of living humus, brambly berries with a ferrous undertone. Still structured but showing a hint of oxidation in the finish.

Just don't understand the love for this wine. Big and powerful for a Beaujolais, but stuck me as a little sour and acidic. A years age has helped it, but I'll wait at least one more before trying again...

Light bright ruby. Intense, sharply focused aromas of raspberry liqueur, lavender and succulent herbs carry a zesty mineral overtone. Sweet and seamless on the palate, offering nervy red berry, blood orange and floral pastille flavors that are underscored by suggestions of licorice and allspice. At once powerful and elegant, finishing with excellent tension, persistence and harmonious tannins. The interplay of power and finesse here is quite impressive. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, March 2018)

Orange peel, rhubarb, cranberry and watermelon Jolly Rancher. Bouncy & youthful, but on the more serious side.

Super sweet fruit on the nose, red licorice rope. Dry, jammy.

Love that familiar Brouilly taste. Reminds me of a comfortable Paris cafe
