Top Notes For
Dense as hell, from the best year of the 80s. Lightening up around the edge but still quite dark; wonderfully thick nose full of tertiary aromas and woody, smoky blackcurrent skins. Lacking the typical cedary St Julien nose and so fat I though it was a top St Estephe. Bordeaux the way it should be - none of this modern style crap; this is wine built to last.
