Vintage 2007 | A treat. This Graves wine rocks each time I taste it. Mesmerizing smell. Lots of character and fruit in a taste that still shows tannins after 17 years. Very good effort in what is seen as a difficult year. Paired with truffed hamburger.

Aromas of mint, dried herbs with cassis and black plum. A medium weight palate which is dusty, resolved, balanced and beautiful. Finishes with slinky, silky tannins. Mature Bordeaux from a good district and producer is hard to beat. Happy Bastille Day - we drank this on Sunday.

Vintage 2010 | Explosion of red summerfruits, blackberries and cherries. Slight spicyness. Laurel. Plums. Eucalyptus. Rich vanilla taste from aging on new barrels. Much power and still very well balanced. Presents itself with conviction.

2009 vintage, kosher version. Don't have good experiences with most kosher wines, but this is a great wine with layers of fruit, Pessac-Léognan spiciness , velvety tannin and a very long finish.

Releases an incredible perfume of flowers, berries, pastels, potpourri, lead pencil, and graphite (w a hint of sautéed wild mushrooms on day 2) ~ cherry, blueberry, and blackberry flavors gain richness in the glass leading to a pain grillé and cocoa puff finish!

Will easily develop over the next 5-10 years w over a decade of plateau following BUT delivers plenty of enjoyment now as well

A great red Bordeaux that is actually showing better than the Blanc of the same vintage. A rarity indeed. People who know this House will agree that the red and black fruits, as well as the finish make this a tremendous value for a wine under $90.

Sexy rich ripe blackberries, dark cherries, strawberries, steeped fruit tea, super fine minerals, light dry earth, soften leather, underbrush, night acid and delicious long sexy finish.

This was singing tonight, floral and complex on nose and palate. Should go 20 years yet.
