Probably one of the more disputed 95's from Jeb Dunnuck (at least for me). I think he's tasting something different than most... frame of reference comes to mind. As good as it is, I think its appeal is narrow. Bone dry and bitter, beautiful violets, tobacco, and a strong, but clean earth profile. That said, for around $20, it's still an exceptional value. 91+

Blackberry, cooked blueberries, meaty, menthol. A bit on the ripe side, but really delicious.

Winner! Been awhile since I’ve been “wowed” by a wine, but this really delivered. It’s everything special about southern France, it’s not a huge wine and had a bit of heat that dissipated by Night 2, but the aromatics and flavor profile was just so spot on, so beautifully complex & engaging, so regionally specific - it was like a textbook. Believe this was about $20 give or take and I’m going back for a case.

Mighty tasty wine. Big fella but has a softness to it. Plums, tobacco and prunes/raisins.

Château Saint-Roch wines have always represented great QPR. Mixed dark berries, garrigue, flowers, graham cracker, anise, and dark melted chocolate!
Mild tannins, Med+ bodied. Delicious at 15% alc.

Nice Grenache-Syrah blend. Balanced and very pleasant to drink with winter couscous!

Very pleasant Grenache. Don’t feel the high alcohol. Went very well with braised leg of lamb in tomatoes, onions and garlic
