Basket Pressed McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon

boo hoo 😥 or *#+$£€¥!!! 😤 the fact that the historic, centenary vineyard was ripped out and turned into tract homes by the US behemoth, Constellation, is a loss to South Australia's wine heritage. at least I was lucky enough to sip this beautiful wine. just moving into its tertiary phase, yet still holding on to its playful youth, it held my concentration and gained my admiration. boo hoo Constellation why did you do what you did?

As per earlier notes excellent Basket Pressed Cabernet with bold flavours and silky tannins

Intense Aussie mouth filling Cab Sauvignon deep ruby colour and fabulous fruit package with tannins and acidity and lingering flavours this is a top McLaren Vale wine which has ageing potential. Very moorish in it’s youth 😃

Very Rustic stalky old school Aussie Cabernet. An hour of decanting really helped and the astringent tannins softened over hours of drinking. Still many years of life ahead.

This wine was super delicious with plenty of delectable McLaren Vale Cabernet flavours. Perfect on an unseasonably cool night
