Powerful and concentrated, black currant, cassis, graphite, licorice, tobacco, finely integrated tannins. Drinking fabulously.

Really a stunning Pavie. Leads with a strawberry and pencil nose, some red floral notes. Rich and broad, might’ve guessed Ornellaia blind. Chocolate, cocoa notes. Superb, will keep for 2-3 years at least.

A hot vintage with 100° days makes this ripe but not overly-ripe wine quite fruit forward in a good way. It could almost be mistaken for new world. Generous red and dark fruits, pronounced minerality, subtle fresh herbs and fresh florality. Tasted 2018 and still very fresh!

I didn't have high expectations for this, but it was pretty damn good.

Slightly more evolved than I remember but very, very delicious.

Big, rich and full in nose and mouth and finish. Lots of dark, rich fruit. A full wine showing itself very well. This is a .375.
