Cuvée Blanc White Blend

Who'd have known an 11 year old Musar made of Obaideh would be SO moving? Ah! Fruit day to be sure...

Weirdly flawed. Very sour

Way less interesting than the rouge. Did not speak to me.

Creamy white blend resembling between Chenin Blanc and White Bordeaux but unique. A great wine at exactly the correct age. Well-integrated blend of two native grapes that combines cream and vanilla.

Musar Blanc is Lebanese Baklava. Dates creamed and spread thin with chunks of pistachios and hazelnut asphalt. Drizzled in honey, splash of perfumed rose water. Sweet, savory stuff.

Beautiful, oxidized, full of strong perfumes. Butterscotch, roasting nuts, crumbly cheeses. It's acidic, salty, drawing Sherry references. Insane concentration, rounding out the tongue peripheries with dried apricot, almond, orange essential oils.

What an impossible gob of imagery.

You got to love this oxy notes. Learning to appreciate it each time a bit more.
