Aug 1st, 2024While still quite beautiful it doesn’t possess the color, intensity or complexity it once had. Honestly a bit muted but opens up nicely. I feel like the 82 is still steaming along and the 86 just isn’t quite what it used to be. Nevertheless, it’s a damn good wine to be sure

Aug 31st, 2022Tasted blind. Reddish tawny color. Closed nose. Later in the evening (after wine had been opened for 9+ hours), notes of black cherry, tobacco leaf, cedar desk, gravel stone emerge. Very rich. Still a baby and evolving. Better tonight than the 82 Mouton. 95+
