Aile d'Argent Blanc Bordeaux White Bordeaux Blend

Deep gold. Opulent, Sauternes-like nose of baked quince and vanilla. Bright acidity leads the medium full palate layered with citrus rind, vanilla, baked quince, and magnolia blossom adding a hint of balsam in the lengthy finish. "Elegant and refined" is an understatement! A wonderful Bordeaux Blanc for your main course of trout almandine, roasted fowl, or Tandoori salmon (to name a few). Drink now through 2027.

A blend of 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Semillon, medium lemon color with aromas of tropical and stone fruits adding some floral citrus notes. On the palate flavors of peach, apple and citrus with floral and citrus notes, lively acidity. Long finish ending with ripe fruit and mineral tones. Nice, tasting sample.

A blend of 53% Sauvignon Blanc, 46% Semillon and 1% Muscadelle, medium lemon color with aromas of tropical and stone fruits adding some herb citrus notes. On the palate flavors of peach, mango and citrus with and white floral notes, lively acidity. Long finish ending with ripe fruit and mineral tones. Nice, tasting sample.

Pale golden yellow in appearance. Rich nose with layers of pineapple, kiwi, honeysuckle, vanilla bean and bees wax. Well rounded acidity (6/10) and medium minus body. Palate grows on you with a pinch of sweetness as well as tons of tropical fruits, citrus rind, honeycomb and a touch of wax. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2029.

Beautifully ripe white Bdx expression with a broad and generous mid palate. In a perfect spot.

Hint of oxidation. My first time drinking this wine. Not bad.

Not much acidity.

Delectable noted this as a red, but it is indeed a white Bordeaux.
