Baked cherry scone of a nose,
Leading into a dense, lush wine with gravel, licorice, blackberry, touches of pine and coal tar. Lovely oak/acid integration.
Merry Christmas Stick!

Hanging with THE REAL DEAL and @ADAM STROMFELD and @Frank. Love the nose on this, really great funkiness and earthiness. The palate is one dimensional, mostly blackberry and road tar. Crushed minerals and iron. However lacking the structure and complexity that I would expect. I keep going back to that gorgeous nose while talking to Evander about the “Bite Fight” and how he learned to box at 15 years old. Fun night.

Nothing like drinking with the Real Deal - Evander Holyfield - now to the wine - black tar and cooked blackberries soft but big well balanced and jammy a bit flabby lacking spice

Meaty, smoky, and rustic. Tart cherries, tempered spicy notes. Bright acidity. Medium tannins.

Move bistro wine with good color, depth of black fruit flavor, medium-plus body and a reasonable price point!

Fave from Languedoc tasting study group. Rustic yet pretty & a bit untamed.

a touch hot but otherwise a killer intro into the region, varietal and producer
