The 2016 vintage is Syrah, Grenache with a touch of Carignan. It’s earthy, spicy & full bodied blend — a month ago
A blend of mostly Syrah with a splash of Grenache, deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruits and herb spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and currants with some pepper notes. Medium+ finish, soft tannins ending with fruit and spice. Nice value! — 17 days ago
As the weather warms, my thoughts turn to Picpoul. Green tasting with citrus, herbal and mineral notes. The acid lives up to its reputation, “Lip Stinger”. Yesterday, I drank it with sardines, so good. Today, I’m picking up some oysters and will finish off the bottle. — 6 days ago
Lychee, mango, white cherries. Opens into a fruit cup of stewed in-season juicy orchard fruits. A white floral perfume sits atop the deeper notes like a multipart harmony. White grape, lily and honeysuckle petals. Well judged oak adds an extra dimension and some vanilla twang. Subtly sweet with a great acid bite. Such a sense of wetness, like the sensation of wet river rocks. Genius wine. — 15 days ago

Balanced? You better believe it — 10 days ago
Such a beautiful, fruity, spicy, earthy, savory, gamy, Southern Rhône blend from Château Pégau... 🍇 🍷
I love that this wine represents a free expression from the winemaker, who pursued this wine in an unrestricted manner (it’s a Vin de France), given the vineyard location and blends of varieties and vintages involved. It’s made organically.
It’s a non-classified wine which opens the door to creativity and ingenuity. The winemaker @laurenceferaud referred to this wine as a “little brother” of #chateauneufdupape and my goodness I adore it 🥰 👏👏👏
I bought this wine at @sunfishcellars and attended the wine tasting with winemakers Laurence Feraud and @justineferaud moderated by @hoythill2011 🙏🙏🙏
Plan Pégau, Red Blend, including Grenache, Syrah, Merlot, among others. Vintages include 2014-16.
ABV 14.5%.

BYOB. We got invited to see Kethro perform some of his latest work at LOW END. Popped and poured into Stainless Steel YETI tumblers while me got drenched in fresh beats. The 2011 “Cuvée Orience”, while certainly showing secondary and tertiary characteristics, is showing beautifully right now! Blue fruits and dark fruits, tart cherry, pastureland, black pepper, and cool damp coniferous forest floor. On the palate, blueberries, dark cherry, spiced and cured deli meat, and Herbs de Provence. The acid, which was quite zippy, has done a wonderful job keeping this alive. The tannins, which seemed well integrated in the first glass, started to gain strength by the second glass. The finish was remarkably looooong and satisfying. While they aren’t dying anytime in the immediate future, there is no reason not to drink and enjoy this now. — 9 days ago
