The producers I drink don’t have bad vintages.

Acts half its age, fresh as a daisy which is something to admire in this vintage. Easily another 20 years here. Probably much better in 5 years.

Sorry, no love for '03 in this region from me. Pruny and lacking in acid.

Delicious combination of savory and ripe fruit flavors- really lovely integration- the plush tannins and so little greenness may be the clue it is from 2003

Beautiful wine, fruit, alcohol, subtle chalk and incredibly balanced, just kept getting better and better, went really well with the fois and duck. Really getting into 2003 Bordeauxs

Nice well balanced wine that is showing in its prime at 15 years old.

An interesting contrast to other 2003s, the Leoville las Cases has an impressive bouquet of blueberries and graphite, however, unlike other St Julien (Leoville Poyferre, for example), it is quite restrained in the mouth and not as sweet, but it is an elegant, compelling wine nonetheless.
