Fairly bright, with redcurrents and nicely integrated tannins. Not much by way of complexity. Apparently it is kosher.

Feb 19th, 2018Garnet Red with blue variations, over-ripe red fruits, black fruits, black cherry, pyrazines, leather, wood and spice on the nose. Confirmation of red and black fruit on the palate with hints of spice, black or white pepper and strong oak, smooth tannins and alcohol due to its beautiful aging ....this is the 2nd oldest wine I've ever tasted (2004 Rioja is the oldest). It really is a wildly beautiful thing, a gracefully aged wine.

1 person found it helpfulNov 8th, 2015Way past it’s prime. Still quite nice. Soft berries. Mushroom, forest floor notes. Smooth. Not too acidic. Too bad it wasn’t opened 5, maybe 10 years ago??

Feb 28th, 2021Drank well with a tomahawk steak. Another couple of years of aging would only help, but the 2015 was solid. #kosher
