2010 right bank Bordeaux, Jonathan Malthaus does it again. New world approach to the old world. Terrific example of Jonathan's skill.

The essence of St Emillion. Cholcolate and blueberries, set against an old world backdrop. Delicious.

May 21st, 2017Lovely cherry, strawberry and fine liquorice notes on the nose with supple round tannin that shows great depth. Needs a good hour to open up. Delicious merlot pairs well with a roasted lamb.

This is surprisingly great immediately on opening. Has a great balance of dark fruit and forest floor. Tannins are soft and integrated and it has enough acidity to back it up without losing the velvet feel.
