Nose needed 10 minutes to open up. Violet aromas, probably due to the rather high percentage of Petit Verdot . 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40%Merlot, and 10% Petit Verdot. Good fruit concentration, balanced and with some complexity. Great value at less than 12 euros. Abv. 13,5%.

Excellent for under $10 at TJs. Earthy cherry and red berry with wood on the finish. Not too tannic. Let’s get some more.

Fruit forward… black cherry, cedar, and soft tannins.
Mature and ready to drink.
Enjoyed with sous vide lamb chops finished on the grill, roasted eggplant brushed with olive oil & fresh tomato & basil salad.
Perfect!

Very good for the price. Subtle flavors of wood spice, rock black fruits, and pencil lead. Structured and long.

Great value & flavours. Needs at least 30 minutes of breathing & maintain temp in the 58-60F…castle room temp.
First nosing icing sugar sweetness then on swirl strawberry blast. Taste is much different than nose. After time: Blackberry, Wet rocks, Cedar & on finish a flash of cinnamon with warm lengthy black pepper. Before breathing I experienced alot of French Oak this subsides with decanting. Smooth tannins.Didn’t get the “funk” others mentioned but my “cedar” maybe another person’s forest floor🙃🍷

The label reads : 50% cabernet Sauvignon, 40% merlot, 10% petit verdot but I could have named cabernet franc on the nose as there is a bit of a vegetal thing like green pepper. There is black pepper too, red and black currant, that's not a typical nose. The palate is made of a very strong acid drive which lasts for a long time. The same vegetal note along with red and black currant, as if it would have been harvested a bit too early, but some nice weight and width, some good grip, lively tannins which dry things up before the ending and some fruit before a bitter layer along with a salty,, meaty final note. This is not bad but I can't help but think it could have faired better without hat vegetal thing.
