Black currant with some Mint and Leafy notes. Chest of cedar drawers. Dusty medium bodied palate with medium intensity and length. A nice silkiness to the fine grained tannins with a hint of bitterness. In its development very much on the plateau and could stay there for a while yet before tapering off. Summation: A good 3rd Growth in an excellent vintage. Had another bottle many years later on 18th November 2024 on my birthday. Much more developed. I have 2 bottles left. I will do a new stand alone note for one of them.

Inky, dark, red cherry color. Sweet tobacco, gentlemen's musk, white, creamy floral on the nose. The palette is smooth, velvet, with very subtle layers. I can see why some reviews have mentioned that it seems flat. It doesn't have tannic layers. This wine is super elegant, non-pretentious and easy to drink alone or with non-complex dishes. Could easily age another 10+ years but what's the fun in that!! Drink now!

Good tasting, finished with this "troisieme" red and black fruits, on the nose and the palate, long finish and well structured, 09 is a great vintage rich and ripe, no need for more aging

Dark red with a wonderful dry fruit. Paired with lamb and added a dense flavor.

Powerful, but still true to the area. Many '09's seem new world. Roots run deep in

Well balanced, not too big. Decanting helped as this was a little close to the vest. wb
