Nov 12th, 2023This one is something. We decanted 30 minutes before and had it on big Riedel bordeaux glasses. Merlot at its best, very bold and rich but with great tannins and very fresh and balanced wine. Highly recommended and will last a very long time. This is why Pomerols done with merlot grapes not over cooked are such a threat. Very highly recommended.

A little one dimensional but solid and showed assertive dark fruits, pipe tobacco and coffee grinds.

Dec 30th, 2020Really elegant Pomerol that punches above its weight for the vintage. Delicious to drink now but with lots of potential. Highly recommended.

Nov 24th, 2019First time tasting this wine as it has resided in my cellar since purchased. This Chateau is very difficult to find in the marketplace when my local wine store imported the wine. The color is dark opaque with good legs. On the nose there is intense black fruits with blackberries and dark cherries predominating plus earth notes. In the mouth it is very rich Merlot and as it airs more nuances of rich fruit. Overall a very good but not great wine. This may reflect the Vintage.
