Seductive and enduring on the palate. Would take this bottle home with me any day #saintestèphe

Smooth, balanced and a perfect match with a classic French meal in the Medoc

Absolute the very best value for quality. Delicate and full bodied taste, long bouquet, long lasting full body taste.

The dark horse in a lineup of amazing bordeauxs. Wonderful integration of fruit and tannin, sweet loam, dark berries, a perfectly aged expression of its style. An estate we've visited and spoken with the owner at length - earnest, impressive winemaking. Bravo

1995v. Past it's prime. Kirsch with mocha notes and not much else. I really want to like this more.

Ripe, modern, well-made merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon. A bit soul-less and generic to ever crave a second bottle.

My last bottle of a few, and perhaps the best. Classic nose, fruit is still there with some cedar, ash and leather. Still lots of power in the palate, but softened into complex elegance. Well worth the wait, even for such an underrated vintage. I should re-stock on Haut Marbuzet, which has remained affordable.
