Château Greysac
Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend
Popped and poured; consumed over two days. No formal notes but this was a more than serviceable Cru Bourgeois that displayed the generosity of the 2015 vintage but delivered the character of the Old World that you want in a Bordeaux. That being said, it’s not a particularly memorable wine.

1 person found it helpfulAug 21st, 2022Blend of Merlot (65%), Cabernet Sauvignon (29%), Cabernet Franc (3%) and Petite Verdot (3%). Dark ruby color. Aromas and flavors of black berry/currant/plum fruit with additional notes of black licorice and tobacco. Nice touch of oak on the nicely rounded finish. Medium bodied with balanced acidity and smooth tannins. Dense, rich and juicy. Thank you for sharing, Kevin Z.

Apr 29th, 2021Good not great. Good QPR at $25. High tannins, mod plus acidity. Could use 2-3 years in cellar.
