Les Georges Chinon Cabernet Franc

Fun one. Some dark fruit juice well balanced by minerality and a little pepper. Great body and mouthfeel. Would buy again.

Minty black fruit, more forest than pepper, brisk finish, no hard edges.

Bargain! Perfumed, herbal nose. Uncompromising old school profile. Tart fruit with light concentration, green pepper, savory finish with grippy tannins. Gets silkier with air. Rosenthal winner as usual.

Drier than you think it will be, but full of life. Black pepper. Blackberry (not a sweet one)

Cabernet franc with a nice softness, peppery and some minerality. Goes great with a hearty stew.

Peppery and notes of blueberry.

Cheap easy

Balsamic, tomato paste, & green pepper give this Loire cab Franc it's taste spectrum. I think if I laid this one down for a few more years it & I would have benefitted, but bygones will be bygones.

Very nice Cabernet franc, medium body, cherry fruit balanced out by moderate tannins.
