Strong and funky, yet light and fruity with a slightly earthy undertone that borders on wet rock. Bright acidity with hints of cranberry, currant skin, plum, and dead leaves. Subtly stemmy tannins and a satisfying touch of minerality.

Medium ruby with light purple undertones. A superstar nose with all the green pepper and herbs you can ask for along with smoke and ripe cherries. This definitely needs some air to open up but after an hour it develops into a smooth pour. Light tannins and medium acidity and very fresh. A bit of rhubarb to go with the cherry pie up front on the palate. Stewed plums, greenness, and good old fashioned Loire funk.

Really nice nose with tomato sauce, black cherry, black pepper and green bell pepper.

Great medium body and balance of red fruit, acidity and silky tannins with lingering pepper, ferrous tomato, and black tea.
