Lots of violets, dried flower notes. Took a day to really open up but very pleasurable bottle once the austerity wears off.

This is what the French do so much better than the US: inexpensive but honest Cab/Merlot. Open nose has smoky gravel, plummy fruit, and the palate is seamless and totally in balance. Just enough ripeness. Only 13%. Nice acids. Perfect with Peruvian roast chicken take out.

Smells clean, forest after a rain, pepper, a bit of fruit. Palate is bigger than nose but so god with food. Cedar, cassis, dried cherries, pine, great tannin, earth. Just wonderful.

Beautiful aromas with Cabernet leading the way. Ripe dark and red fruit, savory and herbal with dried flowers , vanilla, spices, and slight brett that blew off after 5-10 mins in glass. Very silky tannin with medium acid and medium finish. Solid performance, I believe 60/40 cab/merlot blend...

Nose is beautiful floral perfume with a wordiness, almost like sandalwood and a cigar box. Black pepper, berry jam, earthiness, currants, and a hint of cigar box wood on the palate. Gourgeous. One of the best wines I’ve bought from garagiste.

Color of deep purple. Nose of dried strawberries, ripe cherry, plums, and some tobacco leaves. Taste of tobacco leaves, a bit anise, mellow in tannins, low fruity note but more bbq note, chewy and really need tongue to break out the flavors. Aftertaste is long with refreshing zesty and acidic feature. She will fool you easily as high end Bordeaux.

Fruit punch, strawberry, raspberry, red currant on the nose. Cranberry, pepper, and smoke on the palate.

Graves, 2015, fat and sassy and some peat moss. Cabernet Sauvignon and whatever. At $19 can’t complain.
