Can’t beat turbot filet over potato and tomato medley with a rich white wine. Might be the pairing but this Rhone white is on-point. It’s a nice neutral straw color with a floral and perfumed nose; slightly citrus as well. On the pallet it has an immediate oily characteristic; followed by hits of over ripe Bosc pear and a very fresh finish with lingering acidity. Complex, fun, and won’t break the bank.
